Megamind: UnpredictableMegamind sighed. Two weeks had passed since he had saved the city from Titan, and still people were swarming him when he stepped outside. It had gotten so bad he had put on his holo-watch and changed into Bernard, just for the chance to walk the town peacefully. He blended in and he liked it. That was how he had ended up sitting on the park bench the very same park that he had spent time lying under a tree with the one woman who made him question his life of villainy altogether head resting in his hands. It was good to get away from it all and just be alone; Minion was his best friend, but there were times when the little fish could get annoying.
Megamind was thinking, wondering how his life could have changed so fast and so suddenly. He knew that while things had changed for the moment, they would soon go back to the way they were. An entire city didn't just forget years of villainy and eighty-five life sentences just because he saved them once. The heroic bou

WAKE UP CALL
A Megamind Fanfiction
by Ryuko DragonHalf
Normally, the insistent barking of his brain bots was swiftly appeased by tossing a random tool he didn't need at that particular moment. Their chatter would fade to the other end of the Lair, allowing him a few more minutes of work before they would either return, or (if Daddy had run out of patience) find some other chore to perform. It seemed like an odd programming choice for a fleet of robotic drones, but Megamind stood by his ingenuity. His brain bots were attentive, loyal, and could coordinate a laser-light show complete with fog in under four minutes - ergo, the perfect assistant!
Except for today, it seemed. Megamind had been poring over blueprints for a while; he was so wrapped up in his work, he'd thrown three wrenches, four pencils, and a broken keyboard at a persistent brain bot before realizing it hadn't left at all. He finally glanced up with a frown, opened his mouth to berate the disobedient machine
Megamind 100 Word Challenge 871. Obsession
"Minion, can we please leave?" Megamind begged. They were at the thrift store where Minion was feeding his obsession; fish bowls.
"Sir, we just got here and besides," Minion said turning to him "we went to Lowes and Sears. Now it's the thrift store then the Kitchen Corner."
Megamind looked at the creepy cat woman, behind the counter, who owned the store. "Can we just leave? That woman over is giving me the cripes!"
"The creeps, Sir."
"That one too."
Minion rolled his eyes as the woman started to hiss. Megamind and Minion looked at her. "Yeah we can leave."
72. Mischief Managed
"Time to go back to jail, Megamind." Metro Man said, dropping the blue villain next to the police.
Megamind smiled despite being carted off to jail "I promise it won't be a long stay."
Metro Man ignored him saying "Mischief managed."
Roxanne looked at him from where she had been set down before rolling her eyes a bit. "I must say a job well done!" She said at last.
"Well, all in a day'
Sick Day "Sir, I don't think this is a very good idea." Minion said, handing his master their latest weapon. Megamind had woken up this morning sicker than a dog and he still wanted to continue with their plan for today.
Megamind blew it off, placing the ray next to him on his table. "Enough Minion. We have a shedule to keep!"
"Schedule, Sir." Minion corrected.
Megamind ignored him asking "Is the destruct-o-tron ready?"
Minion sighed "Yes, Sir."
"Good. Now go get Roxanne." Megamind commanded.
Minion tried one last time to deter him "Sir, why don't you take a sick day? Seeing as how this is your job, so to speak, you can call in sick!"
Megamind glared at him "Evil does not take sick days Minion, now go get Miss. Ritchi!"
"Fine." Minion sighed before grabbing the spray can and heading to the reporter's apartment.
MM: Your HairFifteen-year-old Roxanne sipped her soda with a bored expression as her two friend chatted away without a care in the world. The teen looked to her side to find the people within the café celebrating the New Year.
Roxanne felt old.
With a heavy sigh, she rubbed the back of her neck and felt her long hair get tangled between her fingers. She grunted softly in annoyance as she tried to separate her hand, but it kept proving to be futile. Her friends finally broke from their 'deep' conversation on who was dating whom and stared at her in amusement. She glared at them. "What?" she asked in a sarcastic manner.
"You should get your hair cut." Friend one said. Friend two nodded in agreement. Since Roxanne entered high school, she kept telling her friends she would chop her hair off- leave it short like a boys. However, her parents refused to let her do such a thing. And thus- her dream hair cut died very early.
The annoyed teen shrugged her shoulders and managed to remove her
In My Skin. . .
Spoiler Alert: If you haven't seen Megamind, I advise you to stop now.
Six months after Titan was defeated. . .
When things finally settled and the limelight died down, Megamind then had time to focus in on much more important things. Such as. . .being accepted as a hero, rather than a villain. After years of being one way for so long, he thought it would be hard to adjust to the changes. But Roxanne made it so easy.
From that point on, it was as though the two of them were getting to know each other all over again. But in the right way. Although this may have included taking her out on extravagant dates and eloquent dining, that wasn't t
MM: First Time"After much time and effort- the thieves were finally caught and put in their proper place, back in jail. Thank you, Megamind, for keeping the streets safe. In other news..."
Roxanne's voice droned out of the television set and filled the empty lair. It was still just as dark and creepy as when the city's new hero was but a villain, but that mattered not. It kept thing running and working- which was all they needed. After all, one was to never judge a book by its cover.
No one seemed to be around except for maybe one or two brain bots that flew about taking a certain item to its proper location. However, not one minute passed when a door slammed open and an angry scream echoed the lair. The few brain bots that had been around stopped in curiosity and flew towards the noise. Once they reached their location, they found their 'daddy' huffing and puffing in complete anger and rage. Behind him stood a worried Minion who held his ripped up cape.
"Those! Those idiots! Idiotic human
All It TakesSometimes Megamind wondered how it all happened. It's not as if he planned on falling in love with the reporter he routinely kidnapped. Of course, he knew that she was very attractive by human standards, and certainly by his own, but initially Roxanne was just a pawn. Megamind saw her as a means to get to MetroMan, and as usual, he was right. Steal the woman, hide her, gloat and banter, and then cue the ensuing battle that ends in inevitable failure. All of that was perfectly clear to Megamind. But what he didn't understand was at which point did he stop seeing her as bait and start seeing her as the woman he loved?
Perhaps it was because she was the only other human he was connected to, besides the Warden and his prison family, which was touch and go at best. Although unwillingly, Roxanne spent alot of time in Megamind's company. It was nice to know that someone would talk to him, even if it was mainly disparaging comments directed at him. He admired her attitude, and was often supris
Mega Drabbles: Be OK
Megamind didn't understand why Roxanne was so quiet. They'd made it to the cabin, they were in love; why was she not happy?
"Is something wrong, Roxanne?" he asked.
"I'm just worried," she eventually replied. "That we'll be found and get into trouble."
Megamind was immediately by her side, giving her attention by wrapping his arms around her and kissing her hair. Her sweet scent filled his nostrils.
"Everything will be OK," he whispered softly into her ear. "I promise."
She turned in his arms and kissed him, and he responded as they fell onto the couch together.
