MM: Those Seven Months 16
When Roxanne Ritchi first pictured her wedding day as a little girl, she pictured herself wearing a white dress just like a princess, standing next to a handsome prince as they said their vows. The cake would be an enormous chocolate one, covered in candy, and she would arrive and leave in a horse-pulled-carriage. It was a fantasy, and it had soon died as she'd grown older. By the time she was thirty she'd decided that she didn't want the typical white dress, or an enormous cake. She wanted to get married maybe somewhere exotic, and to have a unique wedding which would stand out among the rest.
She got a unique wedding, all right. But she'd never pictured it to be quite like this.
Not that she cared. Roxanne was marrying the man she loved, and that was all that mattered. They were stood in the centre of a fake observatory which had been built onto the Lair's roof, during one of Megamind's schemes two years before. It had been opened up so that the sunset was visible in the background,
Mega Drabbles: Lips
Megamind found himself shaking people's hands as the crowd gathered around him. Reporters were already on the scene, microphones and cameras at the ready, and the new hero was soon in about five or six different interviews all at once. He noticed that Roxanne was in the same situation as him.
He also noticed that she was staring at him. More specifically, his lips.
When he noticed, Megamind found himself staring at hers, realizing that he wanted to taste them. He took two steps forwards without a word, and kissed her.
A chorus of "aww" was heard throughout the crowd.
Mega Drabbles: Don't Go 5
Roxanne remained still for a long time. She had seen the look in his eyes; she had been aware of his crush on her back in High School, and possibly even during kidnappings, but she never suspected the feeling was this deep. Not even when he gave her that look of utter defeat.
"Really?" she asked with doubt.
"Yes!" he replied frantically. "I love you, Roxanne. More than I've ever loved anything before. You've changed me. You've made me not want to be the bad guy any more. You-"
It was Roxanne's turn to cut him off with a kiss.
Mega Drabbles: Didn't Say Stop
Roxanne awoke, still lying on the couch and still with a blue arm wrapped round her waist. Thanks to Megamind she'd had no nightmares, and she was grateful.
She could tell he was awake; his free hand was gently stroking her hair, his warm breath exhaling against her neck, and sending amazing sensations down her spine. She moaned with pleasure.
This caused Megamind to stop, and he removed the hand that had been stroking.
"Hey, I didn't say stop."
This made his breath catch. But he went back to stroking her hair. Roxanne pressed herself closer to him and sighed.
Mega Drabbles: Daughter in Law
The two figures were just like Megamind, their skin blue and heads huge. One male and one female; Roxanne didn't have to guess to know they were Megamind's parents.
"We're so proud of our son that he's found someone to love," the father spoke.
"Who loves him in return for who he is," the mother added.
"We'll be watching over you both...daughter-in-law."
Roxanne awoke. The dream had been so clear it was almost like it had been real. She turned over, her eyes settling upon her fiancé. She smiled.
She would mention her dream in the morning.
MM: Those Seven Months 14
The first thing she did that morning was call in sick. Noticeably, Roxanne was far from sick physically, but emotionally, she was a wreck. Her head was spinning out of control, and she knew she wouldn't be able to focus that day, so realized there was no point going in. Besides, she had the most important decision of her life in front of her, and she knew she had to make the right choice. What that right choice was, unfortunately, was beyond her.
Megamind had kissed her. Or rather, they had kissed together; it was hard to tell who had stimulated the kiss, since she hadn't even known they were leaning in until their lips were touching. And by that time, she hadn't wanted to pull back. For an evil genius, he was one hell of a good kisser. No, she took that back; he was better than most guys would probably ever be. Not that Roxanne had many kisses to compare him with. Two of the guys she'd dated never kissed her; the third had, but it hadn't been much, since he was afraid to do so. Metro
Mega Drabbles: Son in Law
Megamind had seen the man before. In many of the pictures Roxanne had shown him of her childhood years. Which meant Megamind knew who the man was; Roxanne's father.
"So...you're OK with this?" he asked hesitantly.
"You make my daughter happy," the man replied. "And so long as she's happy, I'm happy."
"I guess her mother isn't so understanding?"
The man cringed, nodding.
Megamind awoke, and instantly his gaze fell upon Roxanne, who was sleeping beside him. He sighed; it was nice to know he had the approval of her father.
He wished he had it from her mother.
Mega Drabbles: Oh Crud
I sighed, annoyed by the fact that I couldn't think up one more drabble. I couldn't leave it on ninety-nine! It just wouldn't be right!
"Where's the inspiration when you need it?" I sighed.
An email came through. It was Fire with a brand new chapter. I brightened up; I loved beta reading for people. It gave me a sense of purpose. And I liked helping.
But just as I was downloading the chapter onto my laptop, I heard a noise behind me. I turned, to find a blue portal opening up. A very familiar blue portal.
Mega Drabbles: They Did It
It was twelve midnight when the door sounded, opening and shutting quietly so as not to disturb anyone. But Rebecca was still awake; she remained on the couch, lying down with a blanket over her.
She heard her teenage daughter giggle, followed by the small laugh of the blue boy she'd been friends with for so long. They passed by, not even noticing Rebecca in the living room, before disappearing into the teen's bedroom.
Rebecca looked up, staring at the door which had just closed behind them. She had been a teenager once.
Which meant she knew they'd done it.
Megamind: UnpredictableMegamind sighed. Two weeks had passed since he had saved the city from Titan, and still people were swarming him when he stepped outside. It had gotten so bad he had put on his holo-watch and changed into Bernard, just for the chance to walk the town peacefully. He blended in and he liked it. That was how he had ended up sitting on the park bench the very same park that he had spent time lying under a tree with the one woman who made him question his life of villainy altogether head resting in his hands. It was good to get away from it all and just be alone; Minion was his best friend, but there were times when the little fish could get annoying.
Megamind was thinking, wondering how his life could have changed so fast and so suddenly. He knew that while things had changed for the moment, they would soon go back to the way they were. An entire city didn't just forget years of villainy and eighty-five life sentences just because he saved them once. The heroic bou

WAKE UP CALL
A Megamind Fanfiction
by Ryuko DragonHalf
Normally, the insistent barking of his brain bots was swiftly appeased by tossing a random tool he didn't need at that particular moment. Their chatter would fade to the other end of the Lair, allowing him a few more minutes of work before they would either return, or (if Daddy had run out of patience) find some other chore to perform. It seemed like an odd programming choice for a fleet of robotic drones, but Megamind stood by his ingenuity. His brain bots were attentive, loyal, and could coordinate a laser-light show complete with fog in under four minutes - ergo, the perfect assistant!
Except for today, it seemed. Megamind had been poring over blueprints for a while; he was so wrapped up in his work, he'd thrown three wrenches, four pencils, and a broken keyboard at a persistent brain bot before realizing it hadn't left at all. He finally glanced up with a frown, opened his mouth to berate the disobedient machine
Megamind 100 Word Challenge 871. Obsession
"Minion, can we please leave?" Megamind begged. They were at the thrift store where Minion was feeding his obsession; fish bowls.
"Sir, we just got here and besides," Minion said turning to him "we went to Lowes and Sears. Now it's the thrift store then the Kitchen Corner."
Megamind looked at the creepy cat woman, behind the counter, who owned the store. "Can we just leave? That woman over is giving me the cripes!"
"The creeps, Sir."
"That one too."
Minion rolled his eyes as the woman started to hiss. Megamind and Minion looked at her. "Yeah we can leave."
72. Mischief Managed
"Time to go back to jail, Megamind." Metro Man said, dropping the blue villain next to the police.
Megamind smiled despite being carted off to jail "I promise it won't be a long stay."
Metro Man ignored him saying "Mischief managed."
Roxanne looked at him from where she had been set down before rolling her eyes a bit. "I must say a job well done!" She said at last.
"Well, all in a day'
Sick Day "Sir, I don't think this is a very good idea." Minion said, handing his master their latest weapon. Megamind had woken up this morning sicker than a dog and he still wanted to continue with their plan for today.
Megamind blew it off, placing the ray next to him on his table. "Enough Minion. We have a shedule to keep!"
"Schedule, Sir." Minion corrected.
Megamind ignored him asking "Is the destruct-o-tron ready?"
Minion sighed "Yes, Sir."
"Good. Now go get Roxanne." Megamind commanded.
Minion tried one last time to deter him "Sir, why don't you take a sick day? Seeing as how this is your job, so to speak, you can call in sick!"
Megamind glared at him "Evil does not take sick days Minion, now go get Miss. Ritchi!"
"Fine." Minion sighed before grabbing the spray can and heading to the reporter's apartment.
MM: Your HairFifteen-year-old Roxanne sipped her soda with a bored expression as her two friend chatted away without a care in the world. The teen looked to her side to find the people within the café celebrating the New Year.
Roxanne felt old.
With a heavy sigh, she rubbed the back of her neck and felt her long hair get tangled between her fingers. She grunted softly in annoyance as she tried to separate her hand, but it kept proving to be futile. Her friends finally broke from their 'deep' conversation on who was dating whom and stared at her in amusement. She glared at them. "What?" she asked in a sarcastic manner.
"You should get your hair cut." Friend one said. Friend two nodded in agreement. Since Roxanne entered high school, she kept telling her friends she would chop her hair off- leave it short like a boys. However, her parents refused to let her do such a thing. And thus- her dream hair cut died very early.
The annoyed teen shrugged her shoulders and managed to remove her
A Mega Proposal Ch. 6 Roxanne woke up to the ringing of her cell phone. "What?" she breathed sitting up. The ringing continued and she hurried around looking under the pillows and blankets trying to find it. "Megamind!" she whispered. "Megamind! Where is it!!?"
"Purse, side pocket." Syx said tiredly.
Roxanne accidently knocked a few things off the bedside table getting to her purse. Falling off the bed she finally got her phone. "Hello!! Hello?! Hello!" she moved back and forth moving around the room trying to get better reception. "Wayne! Hello! Hello! I have terrible reception here!!"
"Oh my God! Roxanne!" Syx cried shutting her up. It was 6:30 in the morning!!
"Wayne, Wayne just a second." Roxanne whispered. The reporter got into a robe, put on some boots and hurried down the stairs and outside. "Wayne, I'm sorry you feel like I pressured you. Of course I want you to be happy. Wayne, Wayne it's going t
AlienRoxanne Ritchi was walking down the street in downtown Metro City when her phone began to ring. Smiling, she dug her cell phone out of her pocket and flipped it open, her voice warm when she answered. "Hey, Blue. What's up?"
"Roxanne, come quickly!" He sounded excited and her smile widened at the sound of it. "I've made an incredible breakthrough!"
"Okay, I'll be at the lair in 5." She replied, and he clicked off without saying goodbye.
She was barely in the lair when she felt a familiar hand tug her through the holographic wall and into the building. She nearly stumbled as Megamind dragged her through it, struggling to keep up and laughing breathlessly. "Megamind, what's going on!"
His expressive face was bright and he had a huge grin on his face. "Follow me!" He let go of her hand and began walking quickly backwards so he could talk to the girl. She wondered how on earth he could do that and not trip, but he seemed to be doing fine, so she didn't say anything. He began explain
In My Skin. . .
Spoiler Alert: If you haven't seen Megamind, I advise you to stop now.
Six months after Titan was defeated. . .
When things finally settled and the limelight died down, Megamind then had time to focus in on much more important things. Such as. . .being accepted as a hero, rather than a villain. After years of being one way for so long, he thought it would be hard to adjust to the changes. But Roxanne made it so easy.
From that point on, it was as though the two of them were getting to know each other all over again. But in the right way. Although this may have included taking her out on extravagant dates and eloquent dining, that wasn't t
MM: First Time"After much time and effort- the thieves were finally caught and put in their proper place, back in jail. Thank you, Megamind, for keeping the streets safe. In other news..."
Roxanne's voice droned out of the television set and filled the empty lair. It was still just as dark and creepy as when the city's new hero was but a villain, but that mattered not. It kept thing running and working- which was all they needed. After all, one was to never judge a book by its cover.
No one seemed to be around except for maybe one or two brain bots that flew about taking a certain item to its proper location. However, not one minute passed when a door slammed open and an angry scream echoed the lair. The few brain bots that had been around stopped in curiosity and flew towards the noise. Once they reached their location, they found their 'daddy' huffing and puffing in complete anger and rage. Behind him stood a worried Minion who held his ripped up cape.
"Those! Those idiots! Idiotic human
Mega Drabbles: Secret
Megamind waited as Roxanne took a shower, leaning up against the wall by the door as he listened to the sound of the water running. He soon grew bored, however, so began to look around her bedroom. She had said whatever was hers was his.
He saw a bump under the covers of the bed, so curiosity getting the better of him, he lifted them up.
And found a teddy bear.
"I've never been able to sleep without it."
Megamind turned to see Roxanne, and realized that what he'd found was her secret.
A secret he vowed to keep forever.
You're Not A PoetYou’re not a poet because of strung words
Together on row upon row again
Of blank verse or perhaps liberal rhyme.
‘Slam’ all you want, other poets wonder;
Your ignorance of couplets a blunder?
Yes! I speak harshly, but it’s no gross crime,
To point with honesty failed verse of thine.
No real poet discards upper case words;
Lets prose crawl on paper like listless worms.
You seek to free verse of those stern letters,
Sever away bleak capital fetters,
But it doesn’t sing of great speech sublime,
Rather, it sneaks of writing in spare time.
Wait! before you throw me in the icy Rhine;
It’s hard to put verse together in rhyme,
To make our dull words sound great all the time,
Hear them ring out loud, like a clear clock’s chime,
Heralding a poet’s summer prime.
Yet the sacred muses weep at your crime;
Your pentameter mangled thick like slime,
The subject not gilded in raiment fine;
Your bold ink font, crystal waters divine
Tastes bitter to the ton
